The Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) on June 26, 2025, issued the DRAFT JSERC (Determination of Tariff for Procurement of Power from Solar PV Power Project and Solar Thermal Power Project) Regulations, 2025.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These Regulations shall extend to the whole state of Jharkhand
• Eligibility criteria is stated as follows: -
o Solar PV power project, Floating solar project and Solar thermal power project – The project is based on technologies approved by MNRE.
o Solar hybrid energy project
o Solar with storage project
• The Control Period or Review Period under these Regulations shall last upto March 31, 2028.
• The tariff shall invariably be determined through a transparent process of competitive bidding in accordance with the Guidelines issued by the Central Government.
• These Regulations shall come into force on June 26, 2025 and shall remain in force upto March 31, 2028.
